Eighteen months after the end of
Captain Kirk's five year mission aboard the U.S.S.
Enterprise, the starship and its crew are called back
into action when a mysterious, destructive cloud
obliterates three Klingon battle cruisers and a
Federation space-station as it proceeds on a direct
course for Earth.
